NaNo Update #1~

Alright, let’s jump right into this! My NaNo project is titled Grey Area, and it explores the concept of human morality. The team is made up of myself, doing writing, programming, music, GUI, and backgrounds; King-sama, doing sprites, and Sayuui, doing CGs. The game’s WIP thread can be found here: http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=37357. Progress so far: 3 backgrounds are done, and the first sprite is about half-done.

NaNoRenO!

Yes, you read that right! I will be participating in NaNoRenO again this year!

I’m planning out a dark VN focused on a morality struggle, featuring an agender player character, of whom you can choose the pronouns used! I’m super psyched for this story, it’s been at the back of my mind for a while but now I can write it!

I’ll be making an official post about characters and stuff closer to the 1st.

I highly encourage everyone to try their hand at NaNoRenO! It’s an amazing experience, and you have the chance to work with a great team! Or try to solo.. if you don’t like sleeping xD.

I swear I didn’t forget I have a blog… xD

So. Updates woot woot.

My current project was renamed from “The Sakura Tree” to “Jinsei no Mondai,” and it is progressing quite nicely. The sprites have been completed! (shoutout to the lovely morg) I’ve finished outlining the common route, and will be moving on to the character routes shortly. Huuuuge shoutout to Windchimes, my editor/ideabouncer/amazing person of opinions, who has been so helpful! Go check out her WIP, Dear Diary!

Eh… I think that’s it xD I haven’t done much these past months xDDD

A Quick Update on Stuff

Hiya.

I guess I should update this blog more often and stuff. It’s been awhile. Anyways, first off, Project E.A.R.T.H. has had several new releases, just debugging some stuff. It can be downloaded at https://aikosakana.itch.io/project-earth

On new projects, I have about five in various stages of production. Right now, I’m focusing on a cute, fluffy yuri dating sim thing, tentatively titled “The Sakura Tree.” I’m working with an artist, and we’ve set the approximate release date for sometime in October or November, depending how things go.

I will be updating this blog to include a portfolio, as well as a list of completed games and ongoing projects. Expect to see those in the near future!

Wow, I’ve been busy.

Progress:

Writing: 42% – part four complete (~7000 words)

Programming: 0%

Sprites: 100%

Music: 24% – four tracks complete
It is on track to be finished on time! :D

I’ve been pretty busy, which is why the writing isn’t done yet, but the thing that’s been eating my time ends tomorrow, and I’ve got three days straight with no commitments or responsibilities, so I’ll get quite a lot done! :)

NaNoRenO Update #1

So, as you may know, NaNoRenO started a few days ago. I am participating this year, and the game I’m working on will be my first official release! :D I’m working with an artist, BRBeeps from Lemmasoft, and I’ll be doing the writing and programming. Music and backgrounds will be found on free-use sites.

The game follows an average guy named Seth, who is unexpectedly plunged into some kind of battle! There’s government agents hunting him down, a mysterious redhead who won’t tell him anything, and- is that a spaceship?!

Our characters! Seth, the protagonist, an average guy with a friendly personality. Red, a mysterious transgender female who refuses to tell Seth what’s going on, aside from the fact that she wants to destroy a company called Project E.A.R.T.H. And Lucas, an employee of Project E.A.R.T.H. who apparently wants to help Red destroy it?!
